Through the Years
The Beginning
Richard G. Kemper, Inc. was founded in 1959 by Richard Kemper after he departed from Chas. Leonhart Company. The aspiring-young-man left his steady job to pursue his dream of starting his own plumbing supply company. Upon opening Richard G. Kemper, Inc., the company slowly grew with the addition of Dick Dieckman in 1960. The addition of Dick Dieckman to Kemper’s established the foundation of the company.
